Katmai Trophy Lodge September 6-13 6 days fishing 7 nights lodging $5995 plus $191 tax. Katmai Trophy Lodge is owned and operated by long time fishing lodge owners, the Johnson Family. The Johnsons run a tight fishing program and Katmai Trophy Lodge is good option for new and experience anglers. We will be fishing the world famous Naknek River. Naknek is the premier trophy rainbow trout river on the planet. It is not unusual to catch a 30” fish. On our last trip a 34” was boated. A trip to fish and view the bears at the world famous Brooks Falls is always on the agenda. Silver salmon and Dolly Varden are also present in Sept. Flyout options for silvers, sea run Arctic char and leopard spot rainbows, as well as grayling, are available but not included in this price. The price includes all boat-based trips on the Naknek and adjoining waters, food and lodging. The angler is responsible for transportation to King Salmon, tips and alcohol. We suggest you bring your own gear but the lodge does have rods available. There are a few flight options but generally we take Alaska Air via Seattle and connecting to King Salmon through Anchorage. This does not require an overnight stay in Anchorage. Delta also offers flights. Want to fish at this lodge but the dates don't line up?
