Baja Blitz October 5-11 2025 6 nights and 5 days fishing $4900 Hosted Trip Hosted by Steve and Brett. Includes: fishing, lodging, food Excluded: flight to Mexico. Transportation to lodge ($35), tips, alcohol and liquor and bait ($25 a day) Lodging: Gran Suenos East Cape Baja Mexico-two hours from airport at Los Cabos Cheap flight from KC with one connection. SWA flies non-stop from KC in winter and spring. The October flight schedule has not been published yet. Single occupancy rooms and shared panga Two anglers to a panga with a boatman and guide. Fishing: Offshore and inshore for roosterfish, mahi, tuna, striped marlin, sailfish, snapper, grouper, jacks, mackerel etc.. Trolling with teasers as well run as run and gun chasing birds. Blind casting to inshore structure. Chumming with bait to sighted fish. Beach fishing for roosterfish is a limited option with additional costs. Equipment: 10-12 wt fly rods with floating and sinking lines for both inshore and offshore. Reels should be saltwater specific with 200+ yards of backing and strong drag. Our outfitter has limited rods available and recommends you bring own gear. Flies are large EP like patterns and billfish specific poppers and streamers. Stripping guards and tape for your fingers! Typical day: up early for the best fishing off the day. Depart from the beach in front of the hotel. Purchase bait. Return early afternoon or when you run out of bait. Afternoons involve relaxing at the beach or pool. Afternoon beach trips for roosters have limited availability at an additional price. These trips involve vehicles and transportation to another location. Also, this fishery is not always “on” during the fall. **50% deposit at time of booking and remaining balance 45 days before departure.
