April 18-25, 2025 6 Days fishing and 7 nights lodging $4695 We will be traveling to Ascension Bay, Mexico on the Yucatan Peninsula and fishing with Ascension Bay Lodge, run by Daniel Marquez and his staff of experienced guides. Steve has fished this area extensively. For those unfamiliar with at the area, Ascension Bay is a massive estuary located in the Sian Kaan Biosphere. From the fishing village of Punta Allen we will access limitless habitat for bonefish, permit and tarpon. That’s right, The Grand Slam. There is not better place to pursue this Holy Grail of fly fishing. Throw in one of the abundant snook and you have the Super Slam. Furthermore, we will be fishing just as the large, migratory tarpon begin their season movement into the area. Combined with easy flight assess from KC to Cancun or Tulum, we are confident this trip with be a grand slam and a fixture of our trip offerings.
